Ziqi Zhou
Hello! I am Ziqi, a Ph.D. student at Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology, under the advising of Prof. Zhiqiang Tao.
Prior to joining RIT, I spent one year in University of California, Santa Cruz as a research assistant. I obtained my M.S. degree in computer science from Nanjing University advised by Prof. Yinghuan Shi in June 2023. I also received my B.Eng. degree in computer science in June 2020 from Nanjing Normal University, fortunately working with Prof. Wanqi Yang.
My research interests primarily focus on the fields of computer vision, multi-modal large language models, and generative AI. I am particularly intrigued by the intersection of these areas, such as leveraging computer vision techniques to enhance the capabilities of multi-modal systems and employing generative AI to solve real-world problems. Additionally, I am interested in exploring innovative methodologies for improving model performance, interpretability, and scalability in applications ranging from healthcare to autonomous systems.
